How it works

Six phases, registration through renewal, for any contract category. Each step below is a page in the in-app manual; steps marked lodging appear only in workspaces with that module.

  1. Phase A: Registration & Setup

The one-time setup that makes you eligible to bid at all — entity, address, SAM.gov registration, banking, capability statement. The app tracks each step and shows what it blocks.

    • Confirm the entity is an LLC or corporation
    • Have a physical, freestanding address
    • Set up a business phone line
    • Set up a domain-matched email
    • Open a business bank account
    • Create a SAM.gov account
    • Request a SAM.gov Public API Key
    • Register the entity — phase 1, UEI
    • Register the entity — phase 2, CAGE code
    • Attach an entity role to raise the API limit
    • Complete Representations & Certifications
    • Set up federal payment (IPP / EFT)
    • Build the capability statement
    • Confirm insurance, and check whether bonding is required
  2. Phase B: Sourcing & Networking

A daily SAM.gov scan filtered to your categories — nationwide or near your markets — plus a separate lane for relationship-sourced leads and early-signal notices.

    • Search SAM.gov by NAICS, keyword and radius
    • Request a capabilities briefing
    • Track networked opportunities separately
  3. Phase C: Opportunity Evaluation

Read the scope, extract the numbers, size the opportunity, check licensing — then decide, and record why. Lodging workspaces add the GSA per diem rate, room nights and a revenue ceiling.

    • What is a pursuit?
    • The four states, and why they are separate
    • Note the response deadline first
    • Read the full scope of work
    • Confirming requirements
    • Extract units, stay length, location and amenitieslodging

Track the wait. Distinguish a clarification from a price negotiation. Log the outcome and request a debrief.

    • Track submission status
    • Log the award or decline — and request a debrief
  6. Phase F: Fulfillment

Task orders, invoicing with late-payment interest, performance records, and the re-compete window. Lodging adds site visits, furniture, utilities, maintenance agreements and occupancy.
